Apple Crisp - So Delish !! GF/Vegan

Fall and comfort food, need I say more. I had apples that I needed to use up. Nothing says fall better than apple crsip. Okay all things pumpkin do, but apples make great treats too. Ingredients: 6 peeled and cored apples. Sliced thick. 1 cup of quick rolled oats and 1 cup of chickpea flour. Sweetener of choice. Cold vegan butter. I used 1 stick of Earth Balance Cinnamon or apple pie spice to taste. In a bowl mix the butter,oats,sweetener, and flour with a pastry blender or fork until crumbly, but still textured. In a pie plate or 8x8 baking dish place seasoned apples mixed with sweetener to taste. Place cold cubes of butter on top and then top with crumb mixture.
Place in a 350 degree oven until bubbling and golden brown. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite vegan icecream on top. ENJOY !!
