First Lesson With Beeswax Molding Clay

Today was our first lesson with beeswax molding clay. The warming in the hands method did not work fast enough for the hobbits. We tried warming them in baggies in a pan of warm water. It was still a little difficult but we will get the hang of it. The third grader made corn stalks for the story,"How Indian Corn Came Into The World".

  1. Do you have a heating pad? I have had some luck with wrapping the wax in a cloth and then wrapping that in a heating pad to keep it soft.
