Yummy Fall Apple Walnut Crumble

IThe hobbits and I love everything pie, cobbler, and crumble. This crumble includes apples we recently picked from a local orchard. Peel and core 10 apples. Place sliced apples in a pot on the stove with vegan butter, cinnamon, ground clove, allspice, and nutmeg. Add chopped walnuts and sweetener to your liking.  Cook all ingredients until apples become tender but still slightly crisp. 
In a seperate bowl combine rolled oats, chickpea flour, sugar, vegan butter, and cinnamon. Use your hands or a pastry blender until mixture becomes crumbly. 
Place apple mixture in a 9x13 pan with the crumb mixture on top. Bake in a 350 oven until top is golden brown. Enjoy!

  1. Thank you!! I can't wait to try this! Do you use Earth Balance for your butter? We sometimes use the Spectrum Vegan Shortening for things like this also, but if you used Earth Balance I always have that in the fridge also! :)
